We are constantly creating patterns, with our breathing, our way of walking, thinking, inherited habits and other aspects of self-learned behavior, based on things we resonate and vibrate with. Other patterns, generally the unconscious ones, are more ingrained within our being, and require deep core work to acknowledge and release.

To many, this might seem impossible, and so they live their lives carrying them and adjusting their lives to this baggage. But what if we scientifically break into these patterns and undo all of which are no longer serving us, instead preparing our bodies to receive?
Our brain loves patterns because it functions by habit and/or conditioning. When the brain receives information, it matches it with its existing experience, and this allows us to predict and expect what is coming. Patterns support our survival mode. Most humans relate to each other from this survival mode, from the lowest center, the sex center (root chakra). Through the practice of this meditation you will start raising your energy by releasing all of that animal energy. The higher the energy moves, the higher the centers through which you are related to the world. The higher center you relate to the world (crown chakra), the more divine you and your world becomes.

METHOD

Breaking Patterns lasts for 40 minutes. It has 6 stages, involving intense breathing and activity. If you can’t physically complete some of the stages, please attempt the alternative version. This is an active meditation and requires physical well-being.

First Stage BREATHING TECHNIQUE (10 minutes)

This begins with breathing deeply through the nose, always concentrating on exhalation. Let
your breathing be intense, deep, and fast, without rhythm, with no particular pattern. The body will take care of the inhalation.

Second Stage PRIMAL SCREAM (5 minutes)

Stand straight with your arms down close to your body. Your fists should be closed and firm. Start screaming! Allow the sound to come from the depth of your soul. (If you cannot make noise you can also
do a silent scream, use a cushion or play music louder to muffle your noise).

Third Stage PUNCHING (5 minutes)

Open your legs and feel your feet firm in the ground. With your knees bent slightly, start punching the air. Allow the whole upper part of your body to move. Give your body freedom to express whatever
is there with your chest, shoulders and neck. Keep going, even if you don’t have the same strength and intensity during the whole duration of this stage.

Fourth Stage JUMP (5 Minutes)

With arms raised high above your head, jump up and down shouting the mantra, “Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!”
as deeply as possible. Each time you land, let the sound hammer deep into the sex center. While reverberating the mantra “hoo” intensely, your kundalini energy, the sleeping energy, awakens and rises to higher neural centers.

Fifth Stage WALK BACKWARD (5 minutes)

Without even being given the time to think about it, start walking backwards. If you are limited in space then you can walk backwards for seven steps, turn around, walk backwards for another seven steps,
and so on.

Sixth Stage LET GO (5 minutes)

Allow yourself to drop down onto the floor. Lie on your back and stay perfectly still. Slow down the pace of your breathing, allow your body to recuperate, just allow everything to happen. Just watch!

WHEN, HOW, WHERE

You should always start this meditation at the same time of day, regardless of whether you choose the 7-day or 21-day challenge. You are getting your body into a new routine, and after a few days of practicing the meditation at the same time your body will begin to support you in going deeper.

Choose a place where you can be alone for the full hour or more. Have a place where you can play the music without interruptions, preferably with speakers. If you don’t have access to music or you can’t play it loudly, know that you can also practice meditation in silence. (I personally like a place where I can totally express myself, and have the music so loud that I can’t even hear myself)

The music created for this meditation has been consciously composed to help you through each process. I truly recommend that if you are doing the 7 day or 21 day activation you use the music.

Try to go to the bathroom beforehand so that you can go through the whole hour without stopping or being interrupted.

Choose a place where you can make noise or use the alternative explained (cushions, silence shouting, loud music) You can do this meditation with an blindfold so you can really allow yourself to be focus in the technique.

Exceptions: Only if you are not allowed to jump you can do the tfourth stage without jumping and moving the pelvis, creating a movement in the sex center.

If you are not able to punch hard, allow your shoulder to move from side to side, creating a constant move in your chest area.
